Full Itinerary

DAY 1: EL CALAFATE.

Morning arrival into El Calafate. Afternoon spent visiting the Perito Moreno Glacier.


DAY 2: EL CALAFATE (B, L).

Today explore one of the most amazing glacial sights via two hikes. Grande, Cubo and Dickson glaciers.


DAY 3: EL CALAFATE - TORRES DEL PAINE (B, L, D).

Morning departure to the Chilin boarder (Cancha Carrera-Cerro Castillo). Continue to the Lago Toro area to stay in a Glamping site to enjoy the Torres del Paine National Park.


DAYS 4 & 5: TORRES DEL PAINE (B, L, D).

Over these few days explore and enjoy the activities of the lodge and surroundings.


DAY 6: TORRES DEL PAINE - PUNTA ARENAS (B).

Transfer to Punta Arenas.


DAY 7: PUNTA ARENAS - ESTANCIA CALETA JOSEFINA (B, L, D).

Today board the barges and cross the Strait of Magellan to Tierra del Fuego Island. Visit a dolphin colony in Porvenir, then continue to Estancia Caleta Josefina.


DAY 8: ESTANCIA CALETA JOSEFINA - LAGO BLANCO (B, L, D).

Visit the King Penguin Park, the only penguin colony of its kind outside of Antarctica and observe from a distance. The number of penguins seen may vary according to season visited. Continue the journey towards Lago Blanco via Cameron, a picturesque village with zinc houses. Arrival at Lago Blanco, a paradise for fishing enthusiasts.


DAY 9: LAGO BLANCO - CALETA MARIA-ALAKUSK (EMBARKATION) (B, L, D).

Morning at leisure to enjoy the surrounding landscape. Midday transfer to Caleta Maria, where we embark The Alakusk and sail to Jackson Bay. Observe elephant seals, condors, black-browed albatross, various types of ducks, guanacos and typical flora of the area. Overnight on board.


DAY 10: ALAKUSH (B, L, D).

Today navigate through Seno Almirantazgo to reach Parry Fjord Disembark onto the zodiacs to reach the beach of the Nueva Zelanda Glacier. Begin trekking along an ice-cold lagoon through old lenga forests. Following an hours’ trek, reach the imposing wall of the Nueva Zelanda Glacier. Continue sailing through Sueno Cuevas to the glacier of the same name to the very centre of the Darwin Mountain Range.


DAY 11: ALAKUSH - CALETA MARIA - ESTANCIA ROLITO (B, L, D).

This morning, appreciate the impressive view of the Pared Glacier and continue sailing until you disembark a Caleta Maria. Head to Lago Deseado and Despreciado. Lago Deseado, shared between Argentina and Chile is a fishing paradise and one of the last ecosystems in Chile that remains pristine and wild. Continue entry into Argentina taking the Estancias route to reach Estancia Rolito.


DAY 12: ESTANCIA ROLITO - USHUAIA (B, L).

Today enjoy the Estancia followed by a visit to Cape San Pablo with a walk to the Lighthouse and see the abandoned ship Desdemona. In the afternoon you will visit some remote and amazing places in the island before returning to Ushuaia.


DAY 13: USHUAIA (B).

Day at leisure to explore more landscapes of Gable Island and the waterfall of the Larsifasaj River, an ideal destination to observe the Gentoo penguins.


DAY 14: USHUAIA (B).

Time at leisure until your departure flight. Transfer to the airport or extend your trip.


WHAT’S INCLUDED

Accommodation - 13 nights in minimum 3-star hotels.

Meals – As specified in the itinerary (B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner).

Luggage – One normal suitcase and one handbag per person included for hotel porterage.

Transfers – all airport transfers from arrival on Day 1 to final day (assuming specific group flights booked)

  • On day 7 the crossing is 2 hours by barge and 2 hours by land.

  • Embarkation and disembarkation of the Alakush is via Zodiac.

  • The San Sebastian pass will be taken if the Radam pass is closed.

  • Tour prices are based on shared group services (not private services).

  • Passport copies required 30 days prior to arrival for all passengers.
