Full Itinerary
DAY 1: USHUAIA (D).
Arrival into Ushuaia and transfer to your hotel. An optional afternoon excursion to the lakes Escondido and Fagnano is recommended.
DAY 2: USHUAIA - ANTARPPLY CRUISE (B, D).
This morning visit Tierra del Fuego National Park. Return to Ushuaia in the afternoon and transfer to the cruise. Set sail across the Beagle Channel through the Mackinlay Pass.
DAY 3 & 4: DRAKE PASSAGE (B, L, D).
Over the next 2 days we cross the Drake Passage, named after Francis Drake who sailed these waters in 1578. You will have the opportunity to accompany the officers on the bridge and learn of the aspects of navigating a ship. Along with this, the onboard crew will help you identify the huge variety of birds. As you approach the South Shetland Island, weather conditions permitting, the first disembarkation, will be where you can spot penguins and seals.
DAYS 5 TO 8: ANTARCTIC PENINSULA AND SOUTH SHETLAND ISLANDS (B, L, D).
Over the next few days, you will see the splendor of penguins, Antarctic fur seals, southern elephants, seabirds, Crabeater, Weddell and Leopard seals, as well as Humpback and Minke whales and orcas.
Aiming to sail some of the most beautiful channels, depending on ice conditions, such as the Strait of Gerlache, the Neumayer Channel, the Lemaire Channel and Paraiso Bay, where you will visit the active colonies of Adélie penguin (with more than 100,000 pairs breeding there) and imperial cormorant on Paulet Island.
Other possible explorations will be the Melchior Islands, Cuverville Island, Portal Point, Neko Harbor, Pléneau Island and, ice conditions permitting, to Petermann Island to visit the most southern colony of Gentoo penguin.
DAY 9 & 10: THE DRAKE PASSAGE TO USHUAIA (B, L, D).
Leaving the Antarctic Peninsula, you will head north, crossing the Drake Passage. Enjoy the final lectures onboard whist searching for seabirds and whales.
DAY 11: USHUAIA (B).
Arrival into Ushuaia early morning. Following breakfast disembark. Depart from Ushuaia or extend your trip.

Accommodation - 10 nights in minimum 3-star hotels.
Meals - As specified in the itinerary (B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner).
Luggage - One normal suitcase and one handbag per person included for hotel porterage.
Transfers - all airport transfers from arrival on Day 1 to final day (assuming specific group flights booked)
Tours (with local bilingual English-speaking guides) - Ushuaia: Tierra del Fuego National Park. Antarpply Cruise: Activities & landings throughout.
