Del Desierto Lake (Hidden Treasure)

DAY 1: EL CALAFATE.

Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Time at leisure (optional excursion available to book).

DAY 2: EL CALAFATE (B).

Visit Perito Moreno Glacier, within Los Glaciares National Park. Admire the ice mass from the walkways take and an optional boat trip for a spectacular view from the water.

DAY 3: EL CALAFATE (B).

Day at leisure with optional excursion available to book.

DAY 4: EL CALAFATE - EL CHALTÉN (B).

Depart towards El Chalten, through the mythical Route 40, known as the National Capital of Trekking.

DAY 5: EL CHALTÉN (B).

Full day walk through one of the most symbolic trails of El Chaltén.

DAY 6: EL CHALTÉN - AGUAS ARRIBA LODGE (B, L, D).

Depart towards Del Desierto Lake. You have the option for a 15-minute boat trip to Aguas Arriba, or take the 3 hours trek.

DAYS 7 & 8: AGUAS ARRIBA LODGE (B, L, D).

Enjoy the loge activities which include Punta Norte & Hito Fronterizo - Fitz Roy Viewpoints located in the surrounding areas of the lodge - Suspension Glaciers (subject to calm weather conditions) - Fly fishing.

DAY 9: EL CHALTÉN - EL CALAFATE (B).

Transfer to El Calafate for your onward flight or extend your trip.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Accommodation - 8 nights in minimum 3-star hotels.

Meals - As specified in the itinerary (B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner).

Luggage - One normal suitcase and one handbag per person included for hotel porterage.

Transfers - all airport transfers from arrival on Day 1 to final day (assuming specific group flights booked)

Tours (with local bilingual English-speaking guides).  El Calafate: Tour to Perito Moreno Glacier.  El Chaltén: Trekking to De Los Tres Lagoon or Torre Lagoon. Aguas Arriba: Lodge activities.

• Departure flight on day 8 after 5pm recommended due to long transfer from the lodge.
