Essential Argentina

DAY 1: BUENOS AIRES (D).

Morning arrival. Afternoon panoramic tour of the city, exploring its most relevant landmarks: Plaza de Mayo, La Boca and finishing in Recoleta.  Evening Tango Dinner show.

DAY 2: BUENOS AIRES - PUERTO MADRYN. (B).

Fly to Puerto Madryn. Afternoon at leisure (optional excursions available to book).

DAY 3 PUERTO MADRYN (B).

Visit to Valdés Peninsula, Puerto Pirámides from where you can whale-watch from July to November (optional). Plus Estancia San Lorenzo to see a Magellanic penguin colony. The tour ends at Punta Norte, incorporating the

Interpretation Centre.

DAY 4: PUERTO MADRYN - USHUAIA (B).

Fly to Ushuaia. Afternoon boat trip through the Beagle Channel reaching the Lighthouse of Les Eclaireurs.

DAY 5: USHUAIA (B).

Visit Tierra del Fuego National Park, ending at Lapataia Bay. Afternoon at leisure to explore (optional excursions available to book).

DAY 6: USHUAIA - EL CALAFATE (B).

Fly to El Calafate. Afternoon at leisure (optional excursions available to book).

DAY 7: EL CALAFATE (B).

Visit the Perito Moreno Glacier in Los Glaciares National Park (optional boat ride available to book).

DAY 8: EL CALAFATE - BUENOS AIRES (B).

Morning at leisure. Fly to Buenos Aires.

DAY 9: BUENOS AIRES - SALTA (B).

Fly to Salta.  Afternoon explore Salta and the High Mountain Archaeology Museum (MAAM).

DAY 10: SALTA (B).

Visit to the Province of Jujuy.

DAY 11: SALTA - CAFAYATE (B).

Travel through slopes and ravines to the Calchaquíes Valleys. Visit Cachi, Route 40, and De Las Flechas Gorge.

DAY 12: CAFAYATE - SALTA - IGUAZÚ (B).

Morning visit to the Cafayate Gorge. Afternoon fly to Iguazú.

DAY 13: IGUAZÚ (B).

Visit to Iguazú National Park, Argentinian side (optional excursions available to book).

DAY 14: IGUAZÚ - BUENOS AIRES (B).

Morning visit to the Brazilian side of the falls.  Afternoon fly to Buenos Aires.

DAY 15: BUENOS AIRES (B).

Day at leisure until your flight departs or extend your trip.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Accommodation - 14 nights in minimum 3-star hotels.

Meals - As specified in the itinerary (B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner).

Luggage - One normal suitcase and one handbag per person included for hotel porterage.

• Puerto Iguazú: The access to Garganta Del Diablo can be interrupted because of the rise in river flow.

• Check required group flights at time of booking.
