Essential Uruguay

DAY 1: BUENOS AIRES - MONTEVIDEO.

Take a morning Fast Ferry from Buenos Aires to Montevideo (ticket included). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a three-hour tour which covers the most important and characteristic places in the city including Independencia Square (the main square), the Legislative Palace, the traditional Prado neighbourhood, Carrasco residential zone, the Old City and its pedestrian streets, the Town Hall, the Cathedral, and the typical Port Market. Evening at leisure with optional excursions available to book.

DAY 2: MONTEVIDEO - COLONIA (B).

Full day tour to Colonia Del Sacramento where you will walk through the cobblestone streets, the old edifications, the forts, the Spanish and Portuguese Museums. Also visit the port, downtown, Ferrando Beach, the Coastal Rambla which borders Colonia from the Old City to Real de San Carlos area, and where you will visit the bullring and the old port.

DAY 3: DEPART COLONIA - BUENOS AIRES (B).

Time at leisure until your transfer to port for the fast ferry (ticket included) to Buenos Aires or extend your trip.

Meals - As specified in the itinerary (B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner).

Luggage - One normal suitcase and one handbag per person included for hotel porterage.

Transfers - all airport transfers from arrival on Day 1 to final day (assuming specific group flights booked)
