Green Corridor (Mate & Nature)

DAY 1: POSADAS - ITUZAINGÓ.

Arrive early morning and transfer to Ituzaingó, Corrientes. Time to explore the streets, squares, and the Yaciretá Dam.

DAY 2: ITUZAINGÓ - CAMBYRETA ACCESS (B, L).

Depart towards Iberá Park, one of the largest wetlands in the world. Access from Cambyreta into the marshes’ seeing flora and fauna of this environment. Spot acaré, monkeys, marsh deer (province’s heritage) and a wide variety of unique birds.

DAY 3: ITUZAINGÓ - SAN NICOLÁS OR GALARZA ACCESS (B, L).

Take a trip from Galarza by boats or from San Nicolás, by canoes with punting poles. Experience life in Iberá’s culture, as the marshes inhabitants do.

DAY 4: ITUZAINGÓ - LAS MARIAS - ESTANCIA SANTA INÉS (B, L, D).

Today head to Las Marías Establishment, the largest yerba mate producer. After lunch, depart to Estancia Santa Inés, pioneer in yerba mate plantations.

DAY 5: ESTANCIA SANTA INÉS - PUERTO IGUAZÚ (B).

Travel to Puerto Iguazú via San Ignacio Ruins.

DAY 6: PUERTO IGUAZÚ (B).

Visit Iguazú Falls and explore the three trails: Garganta del Diablo, The Upper and The Lower Trails. The optional Great Adventure boat tour can be booked.

DAY 7: PUERTO IGUAZÚ(B).

Morning visit to the Brazilian side of the falls, Foz do Iguaçu to appreciate a panoramic view. In the afternoon, experience the private reserve, La Lorenza. Take a boat to reach the Yasy waterfall and a view of Paraguay.

DAY 8:  PUERTO IGUAZÚ (B).

Time at leisure before transfer for your return flight or extend your trip.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

• Early morning flight into Posadas is required.

• Puerto Iguazú: The access to Garganta Del Diablo can be interrupted because of the rise in river flow.
