DAY 1: SALTA.

Morning arrival and transfer to hotel. Afternoon walk through the city and visit the MAAM. (Optional excursions available to book).

Maximum altitude: 1.152 MASL (3.779 ft.)

DAY 2: SALTA (B).

Today explore Jujuy Province and learn about the Humahuaca Gorge, a Cultural and Natural Heritage Site. En-route stopping at typical towns such as Purmamarca, Tilcara, Uquía and Humahuaca. On the return, visit Maimará, to admire the Painter’s Palette.

Maximum altitude: 3.012 MASL (9.881 ft.)

DAY 3: SALTA - CAFAYATE (B).

Depart towards the Calchaquíes Valleys via Del Obispo Slope, Del Tin Tin Stretch, Los Cardones National Park and De Las Flechas Gorge, with its interesting formations. Continue to Cafayate.

Maximum altitude: 3.348 MASL (10.984 ft.)

DAY 4: DEPART CAFAYATE - SALTA (B).

This morning visit Cafayate and depart towards Salta via De las Conchas Gorge, its appearance as a result of wind and water erosion over time. Transfer to the airport for your flight or extend your trip.

Maximum altitude: 1.683 MASL (5.521 ft.)

• The Town Hall and MAAM (High Mountain Archaeological Museum) and the Wine Museum closed on Mondays.
