Skorpios Cruise (Chonos Route)

DAY 1: SAN CARLOS DE BARILOCHE.

Arrival into Bariloche. Following check in, take a small circuit tour visiting Campanario Hill, San Eduardo Chapel, Pañuelo Port and the Panoramic Point. A natural balcony with excellent views of Lake Moreno and the Llao Llao Peninsula.

DAY 2: SAN CARLOS DE BARILOCHE (B).

Day at leisure to explore (optional excursions available to book).

DAY 3: SAN CARLOS DE BARILOCHE - LAKES CROSSING - PUERTO MONTT (B).

Today transfer to Pañuelo Port to start the Lakes Crossing or Andean Crossing. Sail from Puerto Pañuelo to Blest Port, through Lake Nahuel Huapi. Upon arrival board a bus journey bordering the Frias River, arriving Alegre Port. Continuing by boat through Lake Frías taking in the view the Tronador Hill offers. Arriving at Frías Port border procedures are carried out. Continue by bus to Peulla, enjoying the stunning views of the Andes Mountains. Afternoon you will sail towards Petrohue, by Lake Todos los Santos. Arriving in the evening at the hotel.

DAY 4: PUERTO MONTT - SKORPIOS CRUISE (B, L, D).

Midday departure from Puerto Montt. Afternoon, we disembark on Chiloé Island, and visit an artisan centre, its street and cafés, as well as the house-museum of the Chilean writer Francisco Coloane. Continue sailing.

DAY 5: SKORPIOS CRUISE (B, L, D).

Morning arrival at Puerto Aguirre fishing village where you will disembark. Continuing to Barrientos Island, where we take boats to view the largest number of marine birds in Aysén region, which include Imperial Cormorants, Southern Gulls and South American Fur Seals.

DAY 6: SKORPIOS CRUISE (B, L, D).

This morning you will enter San Rafael Lagoon where, weather permitting, you will sail between multicoloured icebergs in small boats. Afternoon, set sail for the Quitralco Fjord.

DAY 7: SKORPIOS CRUISE (B, L, D).

Docking at Quitralco dock this morning, you will have time to visit the hot springs or walk by the trails. Voyage to Chiloé by sailing through Moraleda and Pérez Norte channels.

DAY 8: SKORPIOS CRUISE (B, L, D).

Sail along the eastern coast of Chiloé to reach the Conejos Island, descend in motorboats and admire a colony of Magellanic penguins and numerous birds. Continuing sailing, approach Lemuy and Chelín Islands. Evening is the captain's dinner.

DAY 9: SKORPIOS CRUISE - PUERTO MONTT (B).

Disembarkation and transfer to the airport or extend your trip.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Accommodation - 8 nights in minimum 3-star hotels.

Meals - As specified in the itinerary (B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner).

Luggage - One normal suitcase and one handbag per person included for hotel porterage.

Transfers - all airport transfers from arrival on Day 1 to final day (assuming specific group flights booked).
