Full Itinerary

DAY: 1 SANTIAGO (L).

Morning arrival and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon city tour including Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Post Office, the Municipality of Santiago, andSanta Lucia Hill.


DAY 2: SANTIAGO - VALPARAÍSO - CASABLANCA AND ROSARIO VALLEYS - ALGARROBO (B, L).

Departure to Valparaíso, a city built in the XVI century. Visit the port, Sotomayor square, Maritime Governorate and the Monument to the Heroes of Iquique in front of the Prat Pier. After lunch continue towards Algarrobo via Casablanca valley. Enjoy a wine tour at Matetic Winery in Rosario valley taking in all parts of the wine process. The tour ends with a wine tasting overlooking the stunning views.


DAY 3: ALGARROBO - SANTA CRUZ, COLCHAGUA VALLEY (B, L).

Depart towards Colchagua Valley via the house-museum of Pablo Neruda, renowed Chilean poet.  Continue through the “Fruit Highway”, which connects the Port of San Antonio with the agricultural zone of the Central Valley. Visit the Vik Winery, and discover a unique winery with a holistic concept. Learn the art of the good wine and visit the cellar with ecological concept. Following the wine tasting continue towards Santa Cruz city in Colchagua valley.


DAY 4: SANTA CRUZ (B, L).

Today visit two important wineries of the zone: First, tour of the Viu Manent Winery by carriage through the vineyards and visit the cellar where you will taste its wines. Lunch is included in the beautiful restaurant of the winery. Afternoon visit to the famous Lapostolle Winery where you’ll visit the Clos Apalta cellar,an extraordinary experience. Nestled in the hills, descend 6 floors dedicated exclusively to the gravitational production of these iconic wines. Taste the wines tasting in magnificent scenery.


DAY 5: SANTA CRUZ - MAIPO VALLEY - SANTIAGO (B, L).

Today transfer to Santiago via Maipo Valley, famous for its red wines and enjoy a wine tour in two boutique wineries that produce high range wines: Perez Cruz Winery, for a tour and wine tasting. Following lunch visit the Aquitania Winery. Tour the vineyard whilst taking in the panoramic views and descend for a tour of the cellars and installations of the winery. The tour ends with three wine tastings.


DAY 6: SANTIAGO (B).

Time at leisure until your airport transfer for your flight or extend your trip.

Accommodation - 5 nights in minimum 3-star hotels.

Meals - As specified in the itinerary (B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner).

Luggage - One normal suitcase and one handbag per person included for hotel porterage.

Transfers - all airport transfers from arrival on Day 1 to final day (assuming specific group flights booked)

  • The Algarrobo Hotel has a policy of 2 nights minimum stay during holiday seasons - subject to supplement.
