Trekking To Paine And Fitz Roy

DAY 1: EL CALAFATE.

Arrival into El Calafate. Time at leisure (optional excursions available to book).

DAY 2: EL CALAFATE - EL CHALTÉN (B, D).

Transfer to El Chaltén. Time at leisure (optional excursions available to book).

DAY 3: EL CHALTÉN (B, L, D).

Trek to Torre Lagoon taking in the stunning views of Torre Hill.

Walking time: 7-8 hours.

DAY 4: EL CHALTÉN (B, L, D).

Moving to El Pilar, start the trek to De Los Tres Lagoon to reach the base of Mount Fitz Roy.

Walking time: 8-9 hours.

DAY 5: EL CHALTÉN (B, L, D).

Today trek the Pliegue Tumbado walking through one of the less crowded paths of the national park.

Walking time: 7-8 hours.

DAY 6: EL CHALTÉN - EL CALAFATE (B).

Transfer to El Chaltén. Time at leisure until departure.

DAY 7: EL CALAFATE (B, L).

Walk on Perito Moreno Glacier, crawling through and exploring the 

peculiar ice landscape and admire the glaciers from a viewpoint.

DAY 8: EL CALAFATE - PUERTO NATALES (B).

Morning Transfer to El Chaltén. Time at leisure upon arrival (optional excursions available to book).

DAY 9: PUERTO NATALES - PAINE GRANDE REFUGE (B, L, D).

Sail to Bernardo O Higgins Park and admire Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers. Arrive at Pueblo Serrano by zodiac via Pudeto and sail across Lake Pehoe to reach the refuge.

DAY 10: PAINE GRANDE REFUGE (B, L, D).

Today begin the famous “W Trekking Circuit”, moving on Grey Glacier direction. Taking in the viewpoint making your way to the refuge and finally to the glacier.

Walking time: 7-8 hours.

DAY 11: PAINE GRANDE REFUGE - LOS CUERNOS (B, L, D).

Walk from Paine Grande Refuge to Los Cuernos, exploring the Francés Valley.

Walking time: 6 hours.

DAY 12: LOS CUERNOS REFUGE (B, L, D).

Today spend time at Bader Valley, one of the unexplored valleys of the park. Observe the views to Torre Sur, Torre Central and Almirante Nieto.

Walking time: 6 hours.

DAY 13: LOS CUERNOS REFUGE - CHILEAN REFUGE (B, L, D).

Walk from Los Cuernos to Chilean Refuge, admiring Lake Nordenskjöld.

Walking time: 5-6 hours.

DAY 14: CHILEAN REFUGE - LAS TORRES REFUGE (B, L, D).

Early morning departure to Torres Del Paine base, admiring the sunrise. Begin the trail to Las Torres Refuge, where we end the “W”.

Walking time: 5-6 hours.

DAY 15: EL CALAFATE (B).

Morning transfer to El Calafate. Depart on your flight or extend your trip.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Accommodation - 14 nights in minimum 3-star hotels.
