Wildlife In The Valdés Peninsula

DAY 1: PUERTO MADRYN.

Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure (optional excursions available to book).

DAY 2: PUERTO MADRYN - PUERTO PIRÁMIDES (B).

Departure towards Puerto Pirámides and continue towards the Sea Lions Colony where you can see South American Sea Lions.  In the afternoon continue through Punta Cantor, Caleta Valdes to Puerto Piramides

DAY 3: PUERTO PIRÁMIDES - PUERTO MADRYN (B).

Travel to Estancia San Lorenzo, where you can see the only colony of penguins in the peninsula. On the return to Puerto Madryn, visit the Interpretation Centre.

DAY 4: PUERTO MADRYN (B, L).

Today explore one of the less visited penguins’ colony: the Punta Ninfas Wildlife Natural Refuge.

After travelling for an hour, arrive at an authentic hull of a Patagonian estancia: El Pedral.

After a brief tour of the hull, visit the colony of penguins and walk among their nests, to observe and learn about these curious birds. Following lunch, time at leisure and return to Puerto Madryn.

DAY 5: DEPART BUENOS AIRES (B).

Time at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your flight or extend your trip.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Accommodation - 4 nights in minimum 3-star hotels.

Meals - As specified in the itinerary (B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner).

Luggage - One normal suitcase and one handbag per person included for hotel porterage.

Transfers - all airport transfers from arrival on Day 1 to final day (assuming specific group flights booked).

Tours (with local bilingual English-speaking guides) - Puerto Pirámides: Southern Valdés Peninsula Puerto Madryn: Northern Valdés Peninsula with San Lorenzo Penguin Colony - Safari at El Pedral.
