Full Itinerary

DAY 1: RIO DE JANEIRO.

Arrival into Rio. Time at leisure to explore.


DAY 2: RIO DE JANEIRO (B).

Half day tour city tour including visits to the Metropolitan Cathedral, walk through the Aterro do Flamengo and the neighbourhood of Urca, for Sugar Loaf. Take to the top in two stages by cable car. At 395 meters enjoy splendid views of Copacabana beach, the Santa Cruz fortress, and several beaches of Niterói. Afternoon at leisure, (optional excursions available to book).


DAY 3: RIO DE JANEIRO (B).

Day at leisure to explore, (optional excursions available to book).


DAY 4: RIO DE JANEIRO - FOZ DO IGUAÇU (B).

Fly to Foz do Iguaçu. Afternoon visit to the Brazilian side of the falls, (optional excursions available to book).


DAY 5: PUERTO IGUAZÚ (B).

Visit the Argentinean side of the falls via Tancredo Neves Bridge over the Iguaçu River, which separates the border between Argentina and Brazil. Once at the falls you will have a spectacular view, with access to the awe-inspiring Devils Throat, largest of the Argentinian Falls, including the San Martin Falls and visit the upper circuit and the Devil´s Throat. (Optional boat trip available).


DAY 6: FOZ DO IGUAÇU - LIMA (B).

Morning at leisure (optional excursions available to book). Afternoon fly to Lima.


DAY 7: LIMA (B).

Half day city tour taking in the modern and colonial parts of Lima, City of Kings, (optional excursions available to book).


DAY 8: LIMA - CUSCO - SACRED VALLEY (B).

Fly to Cusco and transfer to Sacred Valley of the Incas. Afternoon at leisure (optional excursions available to book).


DAY 9: SACRED VALLEY - AGUAS CALIENTES (B, L).

Full day visit to the ruins of Chinchero, via the Racchi Viewpoint, for panoramic views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Lunch at a local restaurant. Travel to the town of Ollantaytambo to find the imposing Inca fortress that bears the same name, where you can tour the town.


DAY 10: MACHU PICCHU (B, L).

Visit one of the most important energy centres of the world: Machu Picchu. After the guided tour, free time to explore the site to relax, or to meditate. Descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board the train later that afternoon for the return journey to Cusco.


DAY 11: CUSCO (B).

Day at leisure to explore (optional excursions available to book).


DAY 12: CUSCO - BUENOS AIRES (B).

Fly to Buenos Aires via Lima.


DAY 13: BUENOS AIRES (B, L, D).

Half day panoramic tour of the city, exploring its most relevant landmarks: Plaza de Mayo, La Boca, Puerto Madero, San Telmo and Recoleta.  Evening Tango Dinner show.


DAY 14: BUENOS AIRES (B).

Day at leisure to explore, (optional excursions available to book).


DAY 15: BUENOS AIRES (B).

Departure from Buenos Aires or extend your trip.
