DAY 1: GUAYAQUIL.

Arrival into Guayaquil. Time at leisure to explore.

DAY 2: GUAYAQUIL - GALAPAGOS (SANTA CRUZ ISLAND) (B).

Fly to Galapagos followed by ferry to Santa Cruz Island. Transfer to the exclusive giant tortoise reserve. This is perched high on a hillside overlooking the ocean, Magic Galapagos Tented Camp will be home for the night.

DAY 3: GALAPAGOS (B).

Half day excursion to Bay Exploration. Sights will include a sea lion colony, sea turtles and a great variety of colourful fish. There is a hike to the Túnel del Amor (lover’s tunnel) with a great viewpoint. On the return a visit to Punta Estrada’s dock, to watch marine iguanas. Afternoon at leisure to explore, (optional excursions available to book).

DAY 4: GALAPAGOS (B, L).

Full day motor yacht excursion. Experience the Galapagos Islands visiting North Seymour and Bachas, South Plazas, Santa Fe Island or Bartolome and Sullivan Bay. Itinerary subject to National Park schedules.

DAY 5: GALAPAGOS - LIMA (B).

Fly to Lima via Guayaquil.

DAY 6: LIMA (B)

Half day city tour taking in the modern and colonial parts of Lima, the City of Kings ,(optional excursions available to book).

DAY 7: LIMA - CUSCO - SACRED VALLEY (B).

Fly to Cusco and transfer to Sacred Valley of the Incas. Afternoon at leisure, (optional excursions available to book).

DAY 8: SACRED VALLEY - AGUAS CALIENTES (B, L).

Full day visit to the ruins of Chinchero, via the Racchi viewpoint for panoramic views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Lunch at a local restaurant. Travel to the town of Ollantaytambo to find the imposing Inca fortress that bears the same name, where you can tour the town.

DAY 9: MACHU PICCHU (B, L).

Visit one of the most important energy centres of the world: Machu Picchu. After the guided tour, free time to explore the site to relax or meditate. Descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board the train later that afternoon for the return journey to Cusco.

DAY 10: CUSCO (B).

Day at leisure to explore, (optional excursions available to book).

DAY 11: CUSCO - LIMA (B).

Fly to Lima or extend your trip.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

Accommodation - 10 nights in minimum 3-star hotels.

Meals - As specified in the itinerary (B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner).

Luggage - One normal suitcase and one handbag per person included for hotel porterage.

Transfers - all airport transfers from arrival on Day 1 to final day (assuming specific group flights booked).

Tours (with local bilingual English-speaking guides) - Galapagos: Half day Bay Exploration - Full day motor yacht excursion.  Sacred Valley: Ruins of Chinchero and Ollantaytambo.  Machu Picchu: Tour of the archaeological site and train tickets.  Lima: Half day city tour.

• Some departures have limited availability at Galapagos Magic. When unavailable, this night will be changed to a selected hotel in Puerto Ayora with an extra visit to El Chato turtle ranch.

• Motor Yacht excursion itinerary subject to change.

• Onboard luggage for the train to Machu Picchu is 1 bag and a maximum of 5kg/11lb measuring 157cm LxWxH.
