DAY 1: LIMA.

Arrival into Lima. Time at leisure to explore.

DAY 2: LIMA (B).

Half day city tour taking in the modern and colonial parts of Lima, the City of Kings (optional excursions available to book).

DAY 3: LIMA - CUSCO - SACRED VALLEY (B).

Fly to Cusco.  Afternoon at leisure, (optional excursions available to book).

DAY 4: SACRED VALLEY - AGUAS CALIENTES (B, L).

Full day visit to the ruins of Chinchero, via the Racchi viewpoint, for panoramic views of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Lunch at a local restaurant. Travel to the town of Ollantaytambo to find the imposing Inca fortress that bears the same name, where you can tour the town.

DAY 5: MACHU PICCHU (B, L).

Visit one of the most important energy centres of the world: Machu Picchu. After the guided tour, free time to explore the site to relax or meditate. Descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board the train later that afternoon for the return journey to Cusco.

DAY 6: CUSCO (B).

Day at leisure to explore, (optional excursions available to book).

DAY 7: CUSCO - PUNO (B, L).

Transfer to Puno. En route pass scenery of the southern valley of Cusco. Stopping at Andahuaylillas, which has a beautiful 17th Century church and the ruins at Racchi. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the archaeological site of Puca-Pucara.

DAY 8: PUNO - COPACABANA - SUN ISLAND (B, L, D).

Travel to Copacabana via the wonderful view of Lake Titicaca. Visit the church and the famous Virgen Morena. Lake crossing to the Island of the Sun to Huacani and have an Aptapi (typical lunch). Continue by boat to the ruins of Pilkokaina Inca temple and hike to La Estancia views of Lake Titicaca.

DAY 9: SUN ISLAND - LA PAZ (B, L).

The early sunrise is not to be missed.

Hike through Yumani visiting the Inca stairs and the Water of the Eternal Youth. Visit Chincana ruins the Sacred Rock and the Island of the Moon by boat. View the Inca ruins of Iñak Uyu temple.

DAY 10: LA PAZ (B).

Half day city tour through La Paz, visiting the street markets rich in handicrafts and a visit to the colonial section of the city, San Francisco Church, Gold Museum and Murillo Square. Also visit the viewpoint Mirador de Killi Killi. Ride by cable car (Teleférico) to view La Paz, (optional excursions available to book).

DAY 11: LA PAZ - UYUNI (B, L, D).

Fly to Uyuni. On arrival, visit the village of Colchani to see the locals producing salt and Isla Incahuasi, a special habitat of volcanic rocks and giant cactus. Visit the pre-Columbian Aique Pucara fort nearby chullpares on the foothills of Thunupa volcano. (Optional excursions available to book).

DAY 12: UYUNI - LA PAZ (B).

Fly to La Paz, (optional excursions available to book).

DAY 13: LA PAZ (B).

Depart from La Paz or extend your trip.

Accommodation - 12 nights in minimum 3-star hotels.

Meals - As specified in the itinerary (B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner).

Luggage - One normal suitcase and one handbag per person included for hotel porterage.
